Opposites attract

This new piece of artwork is a graphic representation of my love story.

I am impulsive and instinctive. My tongue usually says what my heart thinks.

This is who I am and I am very aware of it.

The details

My wife is calm and thoughtful though. She hardly ever acts on instinct.

We both have creative minds in different ways.

She loves maths and science and makes lists and plans .

When it comes to her creative artwork (she is a photographer) she sketches it all ahead, she prepares, she first creates in her mind the image of her final work.

I love history and the arts and I live life by the day, with no plans or expectations. About my art: the instinct guides my hand on the canvas usually . Sometimes I sketch too , but I hardly have a plan. I create when I feel like it and I put on canvas whatever comes to me in terms of shapes and colors.

Yes, we are so very different, my wife and I, but in my restless life, her calm is my anchor.

Her predictability is my safety net.

This is why we fell for each other and I really hope this magic will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
